Isu elektrik di uniten

Hi..!! 

Hasil daripada perbincangan dialog antara pihak management Uniten mengenai isu pemasangan meter elektrik top up di setiap apartment dalam kampus uniten :: 

Dear Students,

UNITEN Management Council has agreed, after taking into consideration the welfare of all students in the apartments and following discussion held with Student Representative Council, to implement the following decisions with immediate effect:-

1)      The University will bear the RM40.00 initially preloaded in the prepaid meter and student will not be required to pay for the amount. However this waiver is only applicable for the prepaid cards that have already been issued to date. No such waiver will be accorded for replacement cards or new issuance.

2)      To reduce the current electricity tariff by about 15% from RM0.397/kwh to RM0.340/kwh. In order to activate this reduced tariff, students are required to top-up a minimum of RM20.00. Once the card is inserted in the prepaid meter, any balance of credit available will be calculated based on the reduced tariff. This reduction in tariff is subject to review by the management in future, depending on any changes to be made in the tariff by TNB.
